20 promises. No exceptions.
Respect, self-determination and discretion – what I stand for as a photographer and what you can rely on at every session.
Boudoir photography is deeply personal. Anyone who stands in front of my camera places great trust in me. But trust can’t simply be claimed – it has to be earned, every single time.
That’s why I have written down what I stand for. This code applies to every session – for clients, models, TFP projects and collaborations with other creatives. Without exception.
Chapter I
Respect and safety

No means no.
You can say no at any time – to a pose, an outfit, an image or the whole session. A no needs no explanation and has no consequences for you.

I don’t touch you.
I demonstrate or describe every pose. Only if you explicitly want me to will I help with a strand of hair or a strap – and I ask every single time.

I announce every pose.
You always know what comes next and why. The only surprises with me are beautiful images.

You’re never alone unless you want to be.
You’re welcome to bring someone along. On request, my wife is present for the entire session.

My language stays respectful.
No comments about your body, no innuendo, no comparisons with others. I talk about light, lines and expression – never about flaws.

Breaks whenever you need them.
One word is enough. A robe, a blanket and something to drink are always ready.
Chapter II
Self-determination

You decide how far you go.
Before, during and after the session. What we discussed beforehand is a framework – not a contract you have to fulfil.

No pressure. Ever.
You’ll never hear “come on, be brave” or “just a little more” from me. If you want to show more, it always comes from you.

I only photograph adults.
Everyone in front of my camera is at least 18. I check an official ID before every session – without keeping a copy.

A voucher is an invitation, not an obligation.
Whoever receives a session as a gift decides whether, when and how it takes place. The images belong to her – not to the person who bought the voucher.
Chapter III
Discretion and privacy

Nothing is shown without your written consent.
No image appears on my website, on social media, in an exhibition or anywhere else unless you have explicitly approved it in writing.

You decide image by image, channel by channel.
In my model release you decide which images may be shown where, with or without your face, and how you are credited. Your restrictions always take precedence.

Your gallery is private.
You receive your images in a password-protected gallery that isn’t linked anywhere and can’t be found by search engines.

Your data stays with me.
I never pass on or sell your personal data. Your address, date of birth and contact details are never published. On request I delete your data, unless legal obligations prevent it.
Chapter IV
Images and editing

I retouch honestly.
I remove what is temporary, but I never change body shapes. You should recognise yourself in your images.

No AI without your consent.
Your images are not used to train AI systems or altered with AI unless you explicitly allow it.

No degrading context.
Publication in connection with pornographic content is ruled out – including any licences to third parties.
Chapter V
Professionalism and fairness

I work transparently.
Prices, services and processes are openly listed on my website. No hidden costs and no sales pressure after the session.

The same rules apply to models.
TFP shoots and personal projects always come with a written agreement. Models are credited as they wish and receive their images as agreed.

I stay approachable – afterwards too.
If something bothers you, if you change your mind or if anything felt uncomfortable in hindsight: talk to me – or to my wife if you prefer. I take every piece of feedback seriously.
My promise
This code isn’t a marketing text I write once and then forget. It is the foundation of my work – and anyone who books a session with me can rely on it at any time.
For me, a session is only a success if you take home not just beautiful images, but also the feeling of having been safe in every moment.
