Picture of the week

Every week, one picture that is particularly close to my heart – and the story behind it. All pictures shown with the consent of the women in them.

Behind the pampas grass

A look that stays with you.
Amidst floral wallpaper and pampas grass, white lace and soft light – no posing, just a quiet moment in which she is completely at one with herself.
For me, boudoir isn’t about being someone else. It’s about showing yourself just as you feel in your most beautiful moments.

Test shoot for ‘Home. Skin. Hay.’

A new set as part of the ‘Heimat. Haut. Heu.’ project that we’ve put together. Kept simple, but very effective. And I think the wonderful Georgia has really shown herself off to good effect here.

Too close to the fire

Eye contact is important. The more the model ‘plays’ with the lens in front of the camera, the more natural and better the pictures turn out. I think Anette has done this very well here.

The coffee’s ready

It’s very often the quiet, little moments – the light is just right, the model feels at ease, and converting the image to black and white gives it a very special character all of its own. I like it. Do you?
